Fiedotin Consulting offers two different approaches when engaging with PE firms and their portfolio companies.

 

The first approach is to provide a standard set of services for all portfolio companies during the first year. That means all portfolio companies will be made aware of the services below during the diligence phase and they are positions as the firm's standard operating procedure. This ensures the PE firm that the new portfolio company will have the support they need to strengthen their leadership team, culture and financial results.

The second approach is an a la carte approach.  In addition to the services by deal stage listed above, Fiedotin Consulting offers a variety of additional services as needed. This customization is developed in collaboration with the private equity firm and the portfolio company.

The success of the services detailed above are dependent on the buy-in and willingness to participate of the CEO and key executives. The Strengthen phase inherently includes greater customization and is dependent upon a stable leadership team, the CEO’s buy-in, the company’s orientation to culture as a competitive advantage, and the existence of an internal resource to help drive initiatives forward.

 

A healthy culture is one that is planned, lived and encouraged daily by the leaders of an organization, not something that is installed by an external consultant. Thus, integrating the concept and actions of organizational health into all phases of the lifecycle and working closely with the CEO upfront is critical to success.
